小十餐厅的店主兼大厨奥田透氏于1969年生于日本静冈市,29岁时在家乡开设了自己的首家餐厅。2003年转到东京银座开设了这家小十餐厅,并于2011年又加设了一家银座奥田(Ginza Okuda)餐厅。这位大厨的做菜风格较为传统,偏重原味和健康,口味较清淡简约,讲究食材的原来鲜味。此外,大厨设计的菜式之中亦不乏松茸、野生鳗鱼、鲍鱼等高级食材。
